James D. Girardy, M.D.

Dr. James D. Girardy is board certified from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from Albany Medical College. Dr. Girardy completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey –Newark/Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. He joined the Medical staff at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood in 2000 and was appointed Subspecialty Director of the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in 2010. Dr. Girardy founded Rehabilitation Specialists of New Jersey in 2004. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, New Jersey Medical Society, Bergen County Medical Society, and The Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Girardy’s primary focus is restoring health and improving function of patients in inpatient rehabilitation care.

Erica David, M.D.

Dr. Erica David is board certified from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. David received her BA in Behavioral Biology from Johns Hopkins University School of Arts and Sciences and her MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York, NY. Her professional work includes rehabilitation consultant at Morristown Medical Center and medical director at Advanced Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. Dr. David is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Academy of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Association of Neuromuscular and the Electrodiagnostic Medicine, New Jersey Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. David's interests include musculoskeletal medicine, electromyography, and women's health.

Ryul Kim, D.O.

Dr. Ryul Kim is board certified from the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at New York University School of Medicine Rusk Rehabilitation. Prior to joining Rehabilitation Specialists of New Jersey, she was an attending physiatrist at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City and was a clinic instructor for NYU School of Medicine. Her interests include musculoskeletal medicine and geriatric rehabilitation.

Julie T. Lin, M.D.

Dr. Julie T. Lin is board certified from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her medical degree from SUNY at Stony Brook. She completed her residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and was Chief Resident in her final year. Her professional work includes Assistant Attending Physiatrist at the Hospital for Special Surgery with a special role as Medical Director at the Integrative Care Center-Affiliated with the Hospital for Special Surgery, and Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University/The New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Lin is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Chinese American Medical Society. Dr. Lin's interests include utilizing medical acupuncture, trigger point injections, joint injections, and spine injections.

Michelle Robalino-Sanghavi, M.D.

Dr. Michelle Robalino-Sanghavi received her undergraduate degree from New York University and her medical degree from Ross School of Medicine, West Indies. She completed her residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Robalino-Sanghavi is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Association of Academic Physiatrists. Dr. Robalino-Sanghavi’s interests include non-interventional pain management and musculoskeletal medicine.

Lisa Veenema, PA-C

Lisa Veenema, PA-C is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Medical Studies and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, both from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, PA. She has a broad medical background in family medicine, infectious disease, and musculoskeletal disorders; along with extensive patient experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Lisa’s interests include utilizing less-invasive pain management treatment to bring greater pain relief to her patients.

A Physician Assistant (PA) is a health professional licensed by the state to practice medicine under the supervision of a physician. PA’s provide a broad range of medical services which include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, performing minor procedures, and prescribing medications.
